thanks.

Mon Jul 6, 2009, 5:06 PM
i just wanted to say thank you to everyone that comments, views, and favorites my work, and thanks to everyone that watches me on here too.

however i update deviantart just for the sake of updating it. i don't use this site to promote my work because it just doesn't work for me and i'm too outnumbered by artists who are both way better than me and who suck much more than me. too much to compete with and it seems that i get more attention for my photos on flickr.

so, follow me there:

and if you're into documentary photography and would be interested in seeing me document my church and the activities of amazing people living for God, follow me here:

thanks.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth...

Check it out! It's a pretty compelling offer to me.
I may just do this instead of the 30mm
:iconunverdorben:
i have it! :P it was the first lens i bought for myself. $80 on ebay!
but i still would like the 30mm because it is actually closer to 50mm on the cropped sensor than the 50mm, hahaha.
but for like $80-90, this lens is REALLY good. so you SHOULD get it. my photo teachers (lol i know, i sound so amateur) all say that everyone should have this.. so i got it. ahah.

Excellent! I may pick on up!

No, you don't sound like an Amateur, I envy you're going to school.
I would also like the Sigma 30...I need one! lol

Very cool self portraits! You do very well with lighting! Are you using the fixed 50mm prime lens? It looks like that's what you're holding in your default. I want to get an equivalent for an ASP-C sensor, something like a 30mm fixed focal. Since, Canon's 30mm is bigger than its flatter cousin (the 50mm) I think I may opt for the Sigma 30mm.
